Phone call of Responsibility: New Warfare 2 is the next Call of Responsibility game, according to multiple reports.

In a recent tweet, known Call of Duty and Battlefield leaker Tom Henderson said that atomic number 2 could "confirm" that Call of Duty 22 is called Call of Obligation: Modern Warfare 2. In a follow-ahead tweet, he clarified his financial statement, stating that "I've seen artwork that says "Ultramodern Warfare 2," but non that "this does not necessarily confirm the deed of conveyance [...] as names can modify during development."

Back in September, Henderson successful similar claims, suggesting that Holler of Duty 2022 was "expected to be a sequel to Mod Warfare 2019," only was currently being referred to internally as 'Project Hernan Cortes'. That information was corroborated in other report, which also declared that the game's campaign would require special forces operational against dose cartels, but Henderson now seems even more confident in this entropy.

With Modern Warfare developers Infinity Ward expected to be attractive the direct on next year's title, the 2019 title selling notably well, and cutscenes in both that game and Phone of Duty Warzone setting a group of characters up for a continuation, Modern Warfare 2 seems like a relatively safe bet. As Henderson points out, however, internal plans are always subject to change, and given that we shouldn't expect a reveal of next year's game until summer 2022 at the earliest, it's worth taking this information with a grain of common salt.
